Search Results Fun

Years ago, I would make a list of search results leading to my website and make comments on the weird ones.  For ones that left me speechless, my friends would try to explain away.  And then one day, I stopped.

I’m missing that now.  So, here are a few for you:

history channel – This must be about my rant about the History Channel. If I want history, I tune into the Smithsonian Channel, now.

bloody tampons in toilet – I don’t know which is nastier – when lazy chicks do it or the people searching for photos of such vile act.

things not to do nakedDon’t sit in a slatted chair!

any body want to go to labama:

fayetteville observer delivery jobs routes -Sorry, I am not the best source.

Since my blog hits are so few and rare these days, I don’t have much to go on. Maybe next time.

“I hate these Word Crimes”
Posted on July 20th, 2014 @ 9:51 pm

I have never denied that this blog is full of typos and sometimes, I can mess up my grammar by using the wrong word. However, for the most part, I try to follow all the rules. As a granddaughter of a newspaper journalist, my mother was always strict with grammar. She would snap at us if we said the word “ain’t” or used the phrase “I did good.”

She loved “Weird Al,” too. I know she is loving this song from above. As soon as she heard it, I’m certain she screamed “YES!”

For me, yes, I can be judgmental with word crimes.  Dating sites contain some of the biggest word crimes performed against me.  Notihng turns me off faster than using “u” for “you.”

In Honor of U.S.A.

Happy Birthday, America!

You don’t look a day older than 238!

Last week, my sisters went to Washington, D.C. for a concert.  I took a few days off and went with them on this road trip.  While they did their thing, I visited some of the sites of D.C.  I went to 2 museums, saw the exteriors of the White House and Capitol, and visited the war monuments.  I need to return and visit it some more and actually tour the White House and Capitol, along with seeing my old girlfriend from my days in Augusta.  She’s not old in terms of age, but just how long we’ve know each other.  Well, she may be about 2 years older than me, but that’s not the point.

Oh, yeah, one thing of note from last week.  I saw Henry Rollins filming his History show.  That was a bonus.  I didn’t meet him, but  nevertheless, it was cool.
