My Car
My Car by peachy92

After work tonight, my brother let me us his car.  His car was my old car.  It has a manual transmission.  I haven’t really driven the car in 2 years.  I’ve driven it in the past 2 years, but only for a quick trip.  But tonight, it was something else.

I felt alive.  Sure,  I stalled out once.  On Abercorn.  In evening traffic.  But, I quickly restarted the car and went on my way.  And with the warm Savannah air, well warm compared to Atlanta this time of year, with the window open blowing in my hair.

And when I walked into the store by buy some dog food, I found myself walk with my back up straight and my head held high.  And it felt good.  I haven’t felt like this in a while.

Tivoli River Marsh
Tivoli River Marsh by peachy92

Except for me, the cost is about $1500 to move out of my apartment. That was a stressful move, but thankfully my dad, my brother, and Jessica helped quite a bit.

I am officially in Savannah now. I really did nothing much this first weekend home. I spent the weekend mostly at home. I spent Friday night at Beth’s hanging out. I did spend part of my day Saturday in Richmond Hill looking for a home. Other than that, spent my weekend with my kitties who have missed me much since I left them her in October.

On the house front, nothing of interest and in my price range found yet. There are house I could afford, but nothing I like.
